Questions

The things UAE SMEsactually ask.

  1. UAE Corporate Tax applies to most businesses operating in the UAE at 9% on taxable income above AED 375,000, and 0% below that. Every taxable person needs to file a return, even if no tax is due.

If your revenue is under AED 3 million, you may be eligible for Small Business Relief.

  2. Small Business Relief lets qualifying SMEs be treated as having no taxable income for the period, so no Corporate Tax is payable. It's available for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029, after an extension announced in August 2026.

Eligibility depends on revenue staying at or below AED 3 million in the current and all previous tax periods. We assess eligibility before electing: once elected, you give up loss carry-forwards and interest deductions for that period.

  3. Most UAE businesses file quarterly. Your tax period is set based on activity and size. Returns are due within 28 days of the end of the period, so it pays to have the books ready early.

We track every deadline for you and file ahead of time, so you never get a late-filing surprise.

  4. We track every deadline for you and prepare and file ahead of time, so there's no last-minute rush.

  5. Yes. We onboard mid-year businesses all the time. The handover takes about a week if your previous accountant cooperates, sometimes longer if records are messy.

What we need: your company documents, last filed returns and latest trial balance, bank statements, and a chart of accounts export. We rebuild from there and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

1 weektypical handover when your old accountant cooperates
  6. We run a cloud accounting platform included with every engagement: no software bill for you and no data lock-in. If you already use a platform and want to keep it, that's fine too.

AED 0software bill: the cloud platform is included
  7. Within one working hour for active clients during UAE business hours, on WhatsApp, email or phone.

For first-time enquiries we aim for the same one-hour window during working hours, and by the next morning if you message overnight or at the weekend.

1 hrreply time in UAE working hours
  8. Fixed monthly fees, agreed up front. No hourly meter running while you ask a question on WhatsApp. The fee covers the engagement scope (bookkeeping volume, filings, reports) and only changes when the scope does.

One-off work like audit support, ESR or transfer pricing is quoted separately, so there are no year-end surprises.
